The Collin County Council on Family Violence (CCCFV) strengthens collaborative, professional partnerships and serves as a catalyst for a sustained movement against family violence in Collin County.

The first North Texas Facing Family Violence conference was held in 2003. The conference provides an environment where organizations and individuals can gain valuable insight into best practices and emerging trends in criminal justice response, victim assistance, education, and mental health. The workshops provided address the needs of professionals in a variety of different settings and disciplines including law enforcement, prosecutors, faith leaders, mental health providers, and other allied professionals.

The conference typically provides the following CEUs: CJAD, LMFT, LPC, LCDC, LCSW, LMSW, TDCJ-CJAD, TCOLE and MCLE

Junior League of Collin County

CCCFV is an initiative of the Junior League of Collin County, an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Junior League volunteers facilitate CCCFV and support the North Texas Facing Family Violence Conference.
