Shawn Wills, CFRE, serves as Senior Vice President – Development at Texas Women’s Foundation (previously Dallas Women’s Foundation), which is the largest regional women’s foundation in the world. Shawn brings to this position a well-earned reputation as a top development professional, experienced in all aspects of fundraising, with an outstanding track record of success. She is responsible for providing strategic direction, planning and implementation of all Dallas Women’s Foundation fundraising and development efforts, which include our major gifts, annual giving and events, corporate and foundation giving, and planned giving.
Shawn most recently served six years as the Chief Development Officer for CitySquare, where she helped grow their annual revenue from $9.8M to $20.02M, and spearheaded the campaign for construction of the organization’s new campus, the Opportunity Center. Previously, Shawn served in leadership and management roles with Rainbow Days, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, North Texas Public Broadcasting (KERA) and the San Antonio Spurs.
She is a native of St. Louis, MO, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE); serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Dallas Chapter; is an adjunct professor at Paul Quinn College; and is a member of the Greater Frisco Chapter of Jack and Jill, where she also serves on the Executive Board. Shawn and her husband, Darin, live in Frisco with their two young daughters, Morgan (10) and Ava (8).
