The Founders’ Scholarship was initiated by State Senator Florence Shapiro, first president, and a founding member of the Junior League of Collin County. The scholarship was created to honor Junior League of Collin County members, past and present, for their commitment to the league and service to the community. The intention of the scholarship is to recognize and award a scholarship to a graduating high school senior student, who is the son/grandson or daughter/granddaughter of an active or sustaining member of the Junior League of Collin County. Selection is partially based on student’s volunteer efforts and impact on the community through that volunteerism.

Application is now open and deadline is April 2, 2024.
