The league year is half over but don’t let that fool you, we’re just gearing up for round two of some fantastic JLCC events coming this spring!  Mark your calendars for April 7^th 2018 as the JLCC hosts Collin County’s largest one-day resale event.   It serves as a fundraiser for the Junior League of Collin County’s community impact initiatives in the areas of family violence, children’s health, volunteerism, literacy, children and youth.   It also impacts the community because Trinkets to Treasures is an opportunity for local nonprofits to receive shopping cards to give to clients. The Excellence in Volunteer Service Awards Luncheon is on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Piazza on the Green in McKinney, Texas.  The Junior League of Collin County recognizes individual volunteers, nonprofit organizations, and business volunteer programs that make important contributions and assist the residents of Collin County. Volunteers have a significant impact on the Collin County, making it a thriving, strong community that residents are proud to call home. Do you have a nominee? Complete the application found at www.jlcollincounty.org/ExcellenceInService.  The application should be submitted no later than Friday, March 16, 2018 for your nominee to be considered for an award.  Tickets for the event will be on sale in February 2018.
