’Neath the Wreath, the largest gift market in Collin County — and all of North Texas — is on the books. Shoppers should set aside Nov. 11-14 to snap up the most original Christmas finds of the year.

This year, the Junior League of Collin County showcase has an expansive new venue — the Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel & Convention Center — where shoppers will find more than 130 juried merchants from Texas and surrounding states.

“Merchants have to apply every year to participate in ’Neath the Wreath,” says Kelly Noonan, Junior League president. “We want great merchants, but we also want a great merchant mix.”

Shoppers will find a cornucopia of holiday and home décor items, clothing and accessories, gifts, jewelry, children’s items, gourmet foods and then some.

The new Marriott venue offers lots of great amenities, including wider aisles, bars, and more food and beverage options during the four-day Plano tradition, which attracts locals and out-of-towners alike, Noonan says.

“The greater market we bring, the more we’re able to give back to the community, which is what the real passion is of the Junior League.”

Through ’Neath the Wreath, and with help from more than 13,000 shoppers, the Junior League has raised and dispersed more than $4.4 million to fund local educational and community impact projects.

The Junior League of Collin County uses proceeds from ’Neath the Wreath to promote volunteerism, develop women’s potential and improve the community. The Junior League of Collin County is celebrating its 45th year, and over that time has contributed $7,252,726 in direct-impact funds to the community through support of more than 110 local nonprofit agencies and the development of award-winning community programs.

At this year’s 25th annual ’Neath the Wreath, Noonan says safety is foremost and baby strollers, rolling carts, rolling bags, wagons and pets won’t be allowed. ’Neath the Wreath organizers are also considering all CDC, state and local government COVID guidelines.
