2017 Fall Events

The women in Junior League of Collin County have been busy this fall!  In October they held their 15th Annual North Texas Facing Family Violence Conference hosted by the Collin County Council on Family Violence (CCCFV). The Collin County Council on Family Violence was founded after the Junior League of Collin County began researching the issue of family violence in Collin County in 1999. Today CCCFV strengthens collaborative, professional partnerships and serves as a catalyst for a sustained movement against family violence in Collin County.   Professionals in the field were given educational CEU’s as they gained insight into best practices and trends in family violence.  Family violence has no home in Collin County but hope does.

In November the annual ‘Neath The Wreath gift market was held.  Over twelve thousand people joined in holiday gift shopping during the Junior League of Collin County’s annual ‘Neath the Wreath Holiday Market at The Plano Event Center. Kicking off the 22nd year, this five-day holiday market featured the best in unique holiday and home décor, ladies clothing and accessories, gifts, jewelry, children’s items and gourmet food from over 100 carefully selected merchants.  This year’s market produced record breaking numbers in attendance and sales that kicked off with Ladies Night Out on November 8, 2017.    A fun time was had by all!
