We have three levels of membership status: provisional, active and sustainer. We also accept transfers from other leagues in the United States and around the world.
The provisional program is a ten-month training course designed to introduce prospective members to the JLCC and prepare for active membership. An active member of the JLCC has successfully completed her provisional year and volunteers her time and talents to our organization and to the community. She is a trained volunteer, working in the community in areas of need, or helping with internal functions and organization of the league. An active member must meet several membership requirements, including attending meetings, working our major fundraisers, paying dues, and fully participating in her placement position to remain in good standing.
A sustainer is a former active member who has completed at least six years of active service. While sustainers are not required to attend meetings, work fundraisers, or hold a placement, they often participate by assisting a committee or placement with their advice and experience. Our sustainers serve as mentors to the provisional and active members of the league, and are a valuable source of support and inspiration to the league as a whole.

Have you recently moved, or plan to move, to the Collin County area and would like to transfer your Junior League membership? We welcome you to transfer from your former league to the JLCC, and we accept transfers throughout the year.
As part of the transfer process, you will be assigned a transfer advisor who will help you navigate your transition. She will be available to answer any questions you might have and will communicate your JLCC requirements. We also have many events for transfers, including socials and get-togethers, to help you adjust to your new home and new league.
To initiate the transfer process, please contact your current league and ask them to transfer your membership to the Junior League of Collin County. Once we receive your transfer paperwork, we will be in contact with you to discuss next steps.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for questions about the transfer process.
We look forward to welcoming you to our league!
